Ted is the Chief Executive Officer of Convergen Energy. He is responsible for growing Convergen’s diverse fuel customer base, developing renewable fuel power generation facilities, and managing the overall performance of the company.
Ted joined Convergen Energy in 2009 and was responsible for the design and startup of the company’s first engineered fuel pellet production facility in Green Bay, WI. He became CEO in 2015 and has been leading the expansion of the company as a renewable power producer.
He gained over 20 years of experience with Kimberly-Clark Corporation and AstenJohnson where he managed tissue, nonwovens, and paper machine clothing manufacturing operations. He has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas.
Senior Vice President, Business Development and Technical Services
Dennis is a 30-year energy industry veteran who brings both significant technical and commercial expertise to the team. Dennis is tasked with broadening and expanding Convergen Energy’s existing customer base and vertically integrating the business into power generation. Dennis previously worked for Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) as a commodity forecaster, and prior to that, in the clean coal and biomass industries for Nviro Cleantech developing business and technology applications.
Dennis has also been a Managing Consultant with Hill & Associates / Wood Mackenzie Company and worked for NRG Energy as a Manager of Fuel Planning and Analysis. His marketing and sales experience in the coal industry includes Foundation Coal Company and ARCO Coal Company, where he served in a variety of positions in Engineering, Operations, Environmental Compliance, and Market Research at numerous locations, including the Denver headquarters.
Dennis has significant experience with solid fuel combustion, air emissions, and air permitting at a wide variety of facilities including: electric utility, industrial, commercial, and institutional plants.
Dennis Conn holds a B.S. from Colorado State University and an MBA from the University of Colorado.
Plant Manager, Green Bay
Mark joined Convergen Energy in 2009. He successfully managed the Green Bay Plant process design, equipment startup, optimization, and ongoing operation. His role quickly expanded to include his current responsibilities as Plant Manager. Mark has been a key innovator in leading new process and product developments for Convergen Energy.
Latvia Country Manager
Alexander Strelkov is Convergen Energy’s Country Manager for Latvia and has held various management roles in Eastern Europe for Convergen’s parent company, the Libra Group. He has been closely involved in the Libra Group’s investment in biogas in Latvia and management of its agricultural and power generation assets in the region.
Alexander joined Libra Group in 2001 to head up its Russian shipping interests, and today combines his role at Convergen with that of CEO of Libra’s Russian real estate investment and development company.
Born in St. Petersburg, he holds an MBA from St. Petersburg’s State University’s School of Management and diploma from St. Petersburg’s Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping.
Brian joined Convergen Energy in 2017 as the Controller. He has overall responsibility for accounting, financial reporting, and analysis within Convergen Energy. He also is responsible for the banking, benefits, insurance, and information technology of the company.
Prior to joining Convergen Energy, he held Controller positions with several companies and has extensive experience in the manufacturing, retail, service, technology, and recycling industries. Brian also has experience in leading the design of network infrastructure, systems integrations and process improvements.
He has BBA degrees in Accounting and Finance from University Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is a licensed CPA in the state of Wisconsin.
